Warwick’s historic Town Hall is getting all ‘jazzed up’ inside ready for a warm, exciting lift off for Jumpers and Jazz in July! Wine, dine and jazz the night away, at the ‘Jumpin’ Jazz Laneway Party’, Friday night, July 16. Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6 pm start. Our stylist, festival partner dd Event Hire, , https://www.ddeventpartyhire.com.au/

is taking great care to ensure patrons are comfortable inside for wining and dining, and the dance floor will be ‘ready when you are’ for jive lovers.

Planning is underway for a very funky, lit-up Town Hall laneway (protected from the winds!), where hot fresh food by local vendors, alongside beverages to everyone’s taste will be available all evening to take inside. Coffee, local wines and craft beers will keep party-goers refreshed through the evening.

Back inside the Town Hall, the opening act brings the dynamic and professional big band sound of UQ Big Band. The UQBB has become one of the most innovative and aspiring large jazz ensembles in Australia, having premiered many new programs in recent years. Members have been preparing enthusiastically for their Festival appearances. Ensembles will feature outside Town Hall by late afternoon, and in the laneway, before the ‘big band’ gets underway on stage at 6pm.

Festival favourites Dezzie D and the Stingrays will then take to the stage for their renowned “get up and dance” upbeat performance. Dezzie and the crew have enjoyed bringing their ‘resurrected Rhythm & Blues’ vibe to Jumpers and Jazz for many years, and have built up a host of passionate fans locally and from afar, who will be at the ready to jazz the night away.

Organisers advise purchasing tickets soon…n $25 for single entry, and $30 ea for reserved table for 6, 8 or 10. Now available online at warwicktickets.com.au, or through the festival website, where all the festival information is available.
