Major festival sponsor back on board
The Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival is thrilled to announce the confirmation of the Warwick Credit Union as a major corporate sponsor of the 2017 event.
For Warwick Credit Union CEO, Lewis von Stieglitz, the sponsorship was an absolute no-brainer. “Jumpers and Jazz is a fantastic cultural event and I encourage all local businesses to support the Jumpers and Jazz Festival - after all, if the event does well, the whole community benefits”, said Lewis.
He goes on to say “but it offers so much more, we only need to look at the increase in cash withdrawals from our RediATM machines over the 10 days to know how important Jumpers and Jazz is to the local economy.”
In announcing their continued support of the festival, the Credit Union has stepped up as the main sponsor of the Picnic in the Park Jazz Stage.
“We are thrilled to accept Warwick Credit Union’s generous offer of sponsorship again this year” said Rob Hamilton from the Jumpers and Jazz in July Inc. Management Committee.
“The festival is well-loved by locals and visitors alike, with more than 30,000 attendees supporting the event.
Tourism operators report healthy forward bookings during festivals such as these and local businesses benefit from an influx of visitors requiring all sorts of services.”
“We are also pleased to announce the return of RACQ as sponsors of the Grant Historic Auto Display and welcome new sponsors, the Warwick Chamber of Commerce, who are supporting the new Jazz Lounge stage at Warwick Town Hall on Saturday 29th July.”
The 10-day Jumpers and Jazz in July event will feature over 100 community events associated with the festival this year.
“Without the amazing support of sponsors and volunteers the Jumpers and Jazz in July festival simply could not exist.” said Rob, “Our local business supporter’s package is a great way for the small business owners to show their support for the festival.”
A Local Business Sponsorship opportunity starts at $200 and all businesses who donate will receive exposure on the official Jumpers and Jazz in July website. Forms for this initiative are available on the festival website or by emailing email@example.com.
Now in its 14th year, the festival continues to attract top class musicians. In 2017 visitors will be treated to the Queensland Music Festival Bach to Bush Tour that features internationally renowned cellist, Louise King and legendary percussionist and educator, John Morrison amongst other wonderful performers. Keep an eye out for the official program to come soon.
